CRAMP Rapid Assessment.  Environmental Parameters

The environmental factors included in the multivariate analyses are derived from a variety of sources including our rapid assessments, the State GIS database, the 2000 U.S census data, and the Naval Oceanographic Wave models. These include: stream length, the distance from the nearest perennial stream, precipitation, human population, human population within the surrounding watershed, geologic age of the site, fishing pressure, status of management protection, wave heights, wave directions, seasonal wave factors, and depth.
